This does seem like where the similarities with The Strain stop though… For a start, the vampires in the Redfall trailer look incredibly different from the ones in The Strain. The vampires have also somehow gathered human followers, which again is akin to The Strain. Redfall, comparative to New York in The Strain, is under attack from a legion of Vampires. Cards on the table before we delve deeper here, I have just come from watching The Strain on Disney+ and felt compelled to write this speculation piece about Redfall as conceptually, they sound relatively similar.
